During the event week Archipelago Week 28, we want everyone to think about sustainability and parking.
There are many ways to get here and move around, and it is desirable to think collectively.
Here we present our proposals:
Use public transport : We encourage all visitors to use public transport as much as possible. Both buses and boat buses offer convenient and eco-friendly options for getting to and from the event. The boat buses operate between Kristinehamn and the archipelago and out to the islands.
Bike or walk: If you live nearby, consider biking or walking. It is not only a sustainable option, but also a healthy and relaxing way to enjoy the archipelago.
Carpooling: If you have to take the car, try carpooling with friends or family to reduce the number of vehicles on the road and thus emissions.
Parking: We have limited parking options, so we recommend that you use the designated parking spaces and follow the signage and instructions from the parking attendants.
Tourist train: A sightseeing train runs from the center to the event area and offers a charming and practical way to travel.
Boat buses: We hope that these suggestions help you plan your trip to Archipelago Week 28 in a sustainable way. Together we can make an effort for the environment and enjoy a fantastic week in the archipelago!

Parkera
Under skärgårdsveckan önskar vi att så få som möjligt belastar med enskild bil. Behöver du bil, parkera gärna på anvisade platser.
Boat bus
If you want to discover the archipelago from the lake side, there are many opportunities to go out on a day trip even without your own boat. Kayak , rent an electric boat or take one of the tour boats in the summer from the Vålösund jetty to various islands in the Kristinehamn archipelago.
The wooden boat: The shock takes you from the Vålösund jetty to the archipelago's largest island, Vålön.
